Vista let 639 threats per thousand computers through, compared with 586 for Windows 2000, 478 for Windows 2003, and 1,021 for Windows XP, security vendor PC Tools said.

microsoft claims that vista is the most secure OS they've ever released to the public. a new & comprehensive study shows the opposite; vista is only 37% more secure than win xp (which is, imho, a much better OS overall), and much more vulnerable to malware than the 8-year-old OS windows 2000. in fact, according to this new study, upwards of 64% of vista computers worldwide are already infected with some sort of malware, many times unbeknownst to the pc owners.
nothing like microsoft force-feeding a shitty OS to the public and threatening to discontinue previous established OS's like windows xp. it's no wonder why it's so easy to hate bill gates and his dominance-obsessed pack of greedy execs...
